"The Biggest Loser Meal Plan has helped… I don't have to spend all that time cooking that I would normally, so it's been very helpful to me to be able to just throw something in and trust that it's healthy."
Ken had tried to lose weight a number of times in the past. Like many people, he'd been overweight his entire life and tried everything from group meetings to shakes to weight–loss surgeries, but just could not keep the weight off.
This time, though, it's different! He lost over 130 pounds on the Ranch, and with the help of The Biggest Loser Meal Plan, he's lost an additional 11 pounds so far at home in just a few weeks!*
Ken says exercise had never been much a part of his past weight–loss attempts, and the emotional eating and other underlying issues that contributed to his weight gain were never addressed prior to The Biggest Loser. On the Ranch, though, he says, "we fixed the problems that were inside and that had results on the outside."
The big test of whether the issues had really been addressed was on his return home.
"The first few weeks being home from the Ranch were really hard," he says. "The Biggest Loser Meal Plan has helped…
I don't have to spend all that time cooking that I would normally, so it's been very helpful to me to be able to just throw something in and trust that it's healthy."
Ken loves that he's able to choose his meals and have them conveniently delivered to his doorstep each week. Some of his favorite meals on the plan are the Buffalo Chicken Pita, the Cheesy Stuffed Chicken Breast and the Stuffed Pork.
"With a 145–pound weight loss,
there are times when I look in the mirror and… I do a double take!" he says.
"It's so foreign to what my life was like before, but it's the best thing that's ever happened to me; the best gift I've ever been given. I went from existing to living. It's like my life has been resurrected!"
We're sure there are a lot more good things in store for Ken!
