Patrick:
Biggest Loser Season 10
Starting Weight on The Biggest Loser Show: 400 lbs.
Starting Weight on The Biggest Loser Meal Plan: 279 lbs.
Current Weight: 219 lbs.
At the end of August, Patrick came home from The Biggest Loser Ranch to start his "at home" part of the contest. Having already lost 121 pounds, he still had a ways to go and now faced doing it on his own.
The Biggest Loser Meal Plan was the perfect fit for his needs. Still competing for the big prize, Patrick continued to work out between four and six hours a day, six days each week. The Biggest Loser Meal Plan is a convenient solution.
Patrick's hard work and the help of The Biggest Loser Meal Plan paid off. Patrick lost 60 lbs at home for a total weight loss of 181 lbs., and is the Season 10 Biggest Loser and the winner of the $250,000 prize!"I don't have to stare at my cabinets trying to figure out what to eat. I don't have to weigh food or measure. It's quick, it's simple, it's awesome and I know exactly the nutrition that I'm putting into my body."
Patrick has a ton of support from his family at home too. While he was away, his wife dropped 50 pounds on her own, and Patrick was grateful not to come home to a household full of different eating patterns. His parents have even made changes in their lifestyle. It means the world to him, he says, to know he's been an inspiration and motivation for his family.
Before being on The Biggest Loser, a typical day in Patrick's life was spent always on the go -- a lot of fast food, pizza, fried foods and samples of food he was selling to restaurants.
Interestingly, his life has always involved physical activity. He and his wife would hit the gym a few days each week, but then typically "undo" all the good they'd done by stopping at a drive-thru because they were too tired to make a meal at home.
Combine all that with a late-night eating habit, and you get a 400-pound Patrick.
As a young father to two little boys, Patrick knew this lifestyle couldn't continue. He was overwhelmed with the prospect of having to lose up to 200 or more pounds, and didn't want his kids to grow up to be like dad. The Biggest Loser Meal Plan and being on The Biggest Loser has helped him to make the positive change he knew he needed to make.
Even though he's not yet at his ideal weight, we asked Patrick how losing 181 pounds feels. "My self-esteem, confidence and energy are sky-high!" he says. "It's amazing how much better I feel. I didn't realize how bad I felt at 400 pounds… I didn't realize it until I got to where I am now."
Patrick's life has changed forever and we know there are only more good things ahead for him.
